The way minors obtain working papers in New Jersey will be changing on June 1, 2023.

A new law passed last year will now shift the working papers process online in hopes of streamlining the process for both minors and employers.

According to the state, rather than going through local schools, minors will visit MYWORKINGPAPERS.NJ.GOV and be walked through a few easy steps.

The site is not yet operational, but is scheduled to be on June 1st.

The below are links supplied by the state.
